What is the JioGamesCloud?
The JioGamesCloud is free for anyone and everyone. You don’t even have to be a Jio user to be able to use this service. Just get it through the JioGames app on Android, for PC or Mac through the official website for free.
Reliance Jio has currently launched the beta version of the JioGamesCloud in India. Currently the platform is in the early access phase. You can play by applying for the early access program. The games are installed on the Jio servers, you just have to click and play.
The JioGamesCloud currently has slightly over 50 games in the beta phase listed on the web app. More games are expected to be added once a stable version is released. The listed games are a mix of games available for android and pc. Popular AAA multi-genre games will be made available.
The beta version of the JioGamesCloud is free. When the stable version of the platform comes out, users will need to subscribe to a paid plan.
The basic requirements for playing on the JioGamesCloud are:
- A good internet connection: To play the games online on the platform, a good internet connectivity is required. It is recommended to have a Wi-Fi connection for better internet speed.
- A compatible device: Android users can play through the JioGames app on any android phones. The PC/Mac users can access the service through through the web app. However, iPhone users will have to play the games through the Safari Browser. Users can also play games on the Jio Set-Top Box using a controller.
Jio is rumored to partner with gaming brands like Nvidia to bring Nvidia GeForce Now which is Nvidia’s own cloud gaming service to the country. The JioCloudGames will soon be available in a stable version for everyone.
